Attitude Era question?
During the Attitude Era (1998ish-2001), was wrestling more popular with EVERYONE back then? I mean like adults and children. Now the only people watching wrestling now in days are basically kids and if older than kids they've been watching wrestling all their lives.
So yea. I asked how popular wrestling was back then. I was really young. So I barley remember people wearing wrestling shirts or anything like that. All I remember was some graffiti in my school that said Stone Cold or WWF or something like that. And I only remeber the Steve Austin WHAT? shirts because they only said what and thats only what I remember as of shirts.
Back in the day, wrestling was mainstream popculture. People knew what you were talking about if you spouted off a catchphrase, kids wore 3:16 shirts and pissed off ministers and parents alike, multi-colored nWo shirts riddled every high school, and DX were like rock stars, probably had more groupies than Van Halen. It was big, edgy, but still more over than the more "allegidly" family oriented brands today.

I just got my first house in July so I broke & needs lots of stuff.
