ok i wanna learn how to do graffiti because it looks DOPE! but how do i learn??? i wannted to practice doing graffiti during the summer but my flipin dad is making me go to art school but i dont wanna learn how to draw a flipin dog or rabbit or wat ever they teach you there i wanna learn how to do graffiti! or if i go to art school will it help me anyway to help me in graffiti??? but when i say graffiti i mean like when people tag everywhere!
oh and if it dosnt help me with graffiti im willing to ditch that class n go tag cuz id be happier like that ! =]
stay in the class, a classical art foundation and an understanding of drawing is good to at least be exposed to. as far as your tags, sketch some shit, sketch some more. once you think something you drew is dope, and coming from the heart or whatever, go out and do that shit.
just don't do those crappy line tags just to bomb everywhere. take pride in your graff.

Tagging graffiti
Are you not supposed to tag over someone else's graffiti? Even if its just writing not art?
Theres a tag and its around the neighborhood but it just has writing it not art if someone were to tag over it to spread there tag is it wrong?
I would advise against it. You may tag over the wrong person's tag and get beat up or killed (depending on the neighborhood you're in).
Remember, gangs tag to mark their turf.
