Simple Graffiti Art

Any tips on spray painting or graffiti?
Call me crazy, but for my art AS level final piece on surface decoration I have managed to work my way around to graffiti and am going to spray paint a huge wall (it's legal: my own).
Only thing is, I have never actually used aerosol paint before and I know it takes a lot of practice to make it look good. It's too late to change now, with the deadline being about a month away and I really like the design I've got for it.
The design itself is pretty simple: all basic cartoony figures with a single fill colour and black outline. Little details I've planned to do with a marker pen but I was wondering if there's any trick to making the outline even or whatever.
Thanks for your help.
use a smaller nozzle for the outline and dont let it dribble - so you gotto be quick. you can try covering the 'not-to-be-disturbed' areas with something like a soft cloth - but can be done only once the inside has dried up. so try putting the single fill color first and let it dry up. then you go with the outlining - and use something like a cloth or rubber tape that wont take off the color. go easy and smooth: thats the idea. dont press the nozzle too hard. thats it.

How To Draw A Simple Graffiti Character--BY WIZARD
What type of camera do you recommend?
I'm not wanting to be a professional.
When I go on roadtrips or vacations, or just simple walks and I see something that would make a beautiful picture, my tiny digital camera just doesnt cut it. its disappointing to get excited about a picture and have it turn out badly (bad quality, very pixellated, etc)
So I want a good quality camera that takes high res pictures.
I'm also wanting to do "light art":

So what type of camera would you recommend for me? Specific answers please!
The best things to look for in a new camera to meet your requirements are: 10.1+mp and a 30 second shutter time (or a "bulb" setting) for doing the "light art". Consider a high-end P&S, a "bridge camera, or a DSLR.
I would advice you to go to a camera store (not an electronics store) and hold, look at, and try the different brands and models within your budget. If you explain what you are looking for, they can show you the cameras that will do what you want and you can get a better feel for the camera when you can walk around with it and actually shoot instead of being tethered to the display stand.
You are the one who will be using it, so get something that feels natural to you with easy to find controls. Both Nikon and Canon are great brands. I went with Canon because of the way it felt in my hands and the layout of the controls. You will miss shots if you are constantly fumbling with the camera.
Go to http://www.yellowpages.com and type in camera and your city, state to find the camera stores near you.
