It's a tough call, but I'd say the Cure - Disintegration. Close contenders are Beatles - Revolver and Radiohead - OK Computer
Out of that lot I'd say 'Rubber Soul'. Their first grown up LP, but with the purity of style that characterized their early years. Followed by 'Pet Sounds': who here doesn't love 'God only knows'?
