Palm Graffiti
i have a palm vii and a keyboard and....?
the keyboard wont work! it keeps saying that its hotsyncing and you can click out of that,but once you get to memo pad and start typing it doesnt work. i kno its realy old but i have a new one and i can just beam it since i dont have a cable for the old one and i hate that stupid graffiti writing. help is apreciated. (on a side note, if you could tell me how to get internet on it w/o paying like 30 bucks a month, i would be very happy) and can u get internet on the z22 cuz it is realy a piece of crap so far. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have the Palm keyboard software driver loaded into the Palm VII?
IIRC there was only one keyboard available for this PDA and I believe it was manufactured by Think Outside which was bought by Mobility.
The driver and the keyboard manual can be found here:

Unzip the driver and install into the Palm VII. Initiate the keyboard program and "Enable" the keyboard.
Hopefully you will be able to enter text via the keyboard.
Because Palm.net is no longer available, you cannot get online via the Palm VII. The Z22 is an entry level Palm PDA and you will not be able to get on the internet directly.
I believe you can get internet content into the Z22 while hot syncing and using Avantgo.
