Making Stencils Graffiti
Any tips & advice for a budding stencil graffiti artist?
It's something I want to get into. I know about the stencil making part, but I was wondering about tips on where to spray your art? What time of day? What to watch out for? Any tips?! cheers!
k...uhm well maybe u didnt know but its illgal to graffiti on other's ppl property...
but if u want to do it u can do it anywhere u want.. just pick a spot u think it would look good on n go for it. Time of the day.... like very late at night is better cus not alot of ppl r on the streets so...thats good. but a stencil is quick (dependin on the size) so if ur quick u cna pull it off anytime of the day. What to watch for...cops duh..n random ppl that can snitch on u..... Tips?? just be prepeared. Take a hoodie, a hat and a bandana for ur mouth (to cover ur face from unwatned watchers- cameras etc. n protect u from the chemicalsssss!) Take a backpack where u can carry ur supplyes like the stencils and spraycans. take gloves...n wear good shoes...cus u mught have to run....fast!!!

how to make a stencil
How do you make stencils for graffiti art on walls?
I have lately seen alot of stecil art and i am very interested in it.
what kind of materials do you use? I heard that they use 1/8 inch thick plastic (HDPE) or do they use cardboard? how do you make a stencil? For example, if I see a picture I like how do i convert it into a stencil? How do I know what to cut out of the picture and what to leave in and what to "bridge" and so on? does anyone have a link to a website that could help me?
