Why do we laugh at death?
On, South Park, people laugh when Kenny dies, sometimes gruesomely. People also laugh at death on Monty Python, e.g. the "How not to be seen" sketch.
In MAD magazine, a graffiti artist does his work, then gets hit by a train, splattering his blood all over it. Later, a couple more come along and say "This guy really puts himself into it".
Not to mention, Spy vs Spy.
Well at the end of the day there are 3 things that happen to us all:
1) We are born
2) We live
3) We die
What happens in between is up to us, we could spend the whole of our lives worrying about dying, getting upset every time someone dies in a program or we could laugh it off. The way I see it, life is for living and we all laugh at inappropriate things sometimes. Often we laugh during programs because the scene is set to make us laugh.
For example we know that kenny is going to die in every episode of south park, so we laugh when it happens at the new scene that has been created this time.
