I think that it has got to do with kids wanting attention or just wanting to do something illegal without getting caught.
I do think that some grafitti can be art, but yeah, most is rubbish. I still don't thin that people should spray paint on houses. They can do it on grafitti boards or something instead. Grafitti on buildings is vandalism. I think it's okay to do it on old abandoned buildings that will probably never be used again. But only if you do it for the sake of art.

Rap Music Hip Hop Culture, Clothing, Jewelry and Music
Hip hop dancing is a refreshing and high powered type of dance consisting of dance movements that will energize your body. Kids making up dance steps to rap music in low income neighborhoods is where it originated. This new form of dance has new people wanting to learn it by the birth of music videos and rap music. As a matter of fact, hip hop dance is now internationally recognized and is even available in many dance studios.
A reflection of your personal style but is also often choreographed as a form of freestyle dancing can be hip hop dancing. You can learn a choreographed dance routine as part of an exercise regimen to help you get in shape and reduce stress. What makes it a wonderful full body exercise is that hip hop dance uses the entire body and lower body. Balance is important when you do these moves because the abdominals get a lot of work. In addition, it is fun and upbeat.
In New York City and among its youths is how hip hop was formed as a cultural movement. MCing, DJing, graffiti art, and break dancing are the four main elements or aspects that make it up. Hip Hop has also become a synonym for rap music but the two should not be interchanged. A 1960 slang word for conversation is actually where the word rap is ripped from. Rap consists of street poetry that is chanted to the accompaniment of popular disco music or funk recordings.
Dance, art, expression, pain, love, racism, sexism, broken families, hard times, and overcoming adversity is what hip hop ends up being about. It's about trying to live out the American dream from the bottom up. It's about trying to make something out of nothing; about the youth culture of New York City and other urban cities taking over the world.
With this culture, come hip hop clothing, jewelry and music. Breakin' (dance), Emceein' (rap), Graffiti (aerosol art), Deejayin, Beatboxin, Street Fashion, Street Knowledge, Street Entrepreneurialism are also terminologies that came into being.
Hip hop is characterized by most people simply as rap music today. The whole youth culture is not truly understood and the history and the current influence hip-hop has on it is not truly understood. You see rap music is just one element of hip hop.
What makes hip hop's evolution is the range of flavor the culture has to offer and what hip-hop heads thrive on is individuality and creativity, which is never more apparent than in hip-hop fashion. One of the top clothing industries in the world today is in fact hip hop fashion. It has spread quickly into being a truly universal style for people of all ethnicities and sexes but is claimed to have started in the African American community.
