How to Use Green Chemicals with Pressure Cleaning Machines
Pressure washers are ideal for cleaning surfaces, such as concrete, brick, tiles, laminated floors, cars, and machinery parts, like engines. Industrial pressure washers use a combination of high temperature, high pressure levels, and high flow rates for efficient cleaning. These machines are used for removing heavy grease deposits, chemicals, food residues, and other types of dirt and stains. To enhance the cleaning capabilities of industrial and commercial pressure washers, you should use them in combination with detergents. However, most detergents on the market are harmful to the environment and the user, leave behind toxic residues, and require careful handling. Green chemicals, on the other hand, are eco-friendly, nontoxic, and can be handled and stored without extraordinary precautions. In addition, top green chemicals can be even more powerful than their hazardous, toxic counterparts.
You can use green chemicals the same way you use regular chemical products with industrial or commercial pressure washers. A siphon hose injects the detergent (diluted or concentrated) into the stream of water or steam ejected from the nozzle. This allows you to manage the amount of green detergent injected into the water flow. If required, you can even turn off the detergent infusion.
If the grease or dirt buildup is strong, apply the chemical before using power washers on the surface. This allows the buildup to soften. Then, the combination of heat and high pressure levels from the industrial pressure washers will forcefully remove the buildup and wash it away. Listed below are some of the more important cleaning applications of pressure cleaning machines in combination with green chemicals:
Cleaning Concrete
Green chemicals, infused into the water flowing from pressure cleaning machines, can remove grease, mud, mold, and even rust from concrete surfaces. Besides rust, these chemicals, when used with power washers, can remove many other types of stains, restoring concrete to a like-new, clean surface.
Degreasing
Removing grease is a challenge, even if you use high pressure levels and hot water or steam. To simplify the process, use a green degreasing chemical for softening the grease. These chemicals work by breaking down hydrocarbon bonds in organic compounds, such as grease, sugar, and protein. The heat will further soften the grease, which then can be washed away with the water jet from water pressure washers. These green degreasers are useful when you are using non-heated pressure cleaning machines, as cold water cannot remove congealed fats unless used with a grease dissolving product. In addition, these degreasers can keep the area grease-free for a longer period.
Removing Graffiti
Graffiti is often created from paint, grease, wax, and other chemicals. These chemicals adhere to the surface below so strongly that using very high pressure levels to remove them might damage the surface. A natural graffiti remover emulsifies and lifts the paint and ink, which can then be removed using the spray from pressure cleaning systems. These chemicals can be used on metal, bricks, rubber, concrete, and other surfaces.
Cleaning Machine Parts
