Make Graffiti Words Drawing

How to do light graffiti with digital camera?
Hi(:
Well, i have the Casio Exilim EX-Z80.
I recently have been falling in lovee with light graffiti.. and i have been experimenting a bit with my camera.. but, for some reason I can't seem to get shapes right..my camera is detecting the light.. but if i want to draw a flower..heart..words..etc. it won't come out. Can someone please tell me what should i do or what i'm doing wrong? i have the ISO set to 100...and my shutter goes pretty quickly.. please help me (: thanks!
The reason it isn't working for you so far is probably because you have it set to a high shutter speed. The photo is being captured so quickly that there is no time for the shapes to be made with the light.
You'll need to set it to a slower aperture. We can't find an instruction manual for your particular camera, but it doesn't seem to have a manual setting so you can adjust the shutter speed. You should try setting it on 'Night Scene' to get the slowest possible shutter time. Make sure it is completely dark except for the light source you plan to create patterns with.
Here is a brief tutorial on how to do it, although it is more relevent to DSLR cameras: http://markthedark.com/tutorial

Meet the Onion, it's Soft but can Make you Weep
Nairobi — Hard on the outside but soft inside... you could probably apply that to many people you know, and it is also the theme of a recent painting by Jesse N'gang'a.
