WHY do people think that taggers(graffiti artist) are gangster..?


Hi, my name is Philip.
I just moved from Europe and now I live in Michigan...
I grew up with graffiti, here's the thing I started art when I was about 4 and by the age of 10 I started sketching and by the age of 11 I started graffiti,........................ and still doing it.

Thats what people are nowadays.. selfish or self concerned or clueless... they only see illegal graffiti... usually to represent a CREW not a gang .. but possible.

i see myself as an artist and other do to... but the only time someone will call me gangster is when I have a gun in my hand and I am drawing weird symbols on a wall that mark my gangs turf (which will never happen)

Do you think covering up graffiti is giving taggers a fresh new place to do it again? OR.......?


telling them that their taggs are not welcome here?

I spray paint over the taggs right around my house because I don't wanna look at it while sitting on my porch, or working in my yard. People think I am just giving them more space to do t again and that I am wasting my $$. IDC if they do it again, over and over. I will keep painting over itevery timee just as much as them.
