how do i get better at graffiti?

i just recently started trying to pick up on graffiti, and i have a few questions on how to get better. first off i saw graffiti everywhere all the time and never really thought it would be as difficult as it really is, so Props to those of you who have mastered it. So i have already designed a signature tag for myself, and now i was wondering what do i do next? how do i get better at all of the different styles? what is the best style of marker i can get at a local store to design and work on styles? do i just look up the alphabets and copy the letters over and over again or is there a better way? i dont really want to start spraying until ive got a good style down.. any help would be great thanks!

Just go with regular paint, and an abandoned spot to practice. If not, use plywood. Then when your good, go do it. Depending on style, it's not as hard as you think. Simple but elegant may make you look like your new to it, but pickup your own style as you go along. Don't copy someone else's style or off the computer. That makes you a fraud.
