Graffiti Stonehenge
Do you think if a monument like Stonehenge, or ancient magnificent Cathedrals, like they have in Europe, would?
not have survived in the U.S., because of vandals and thugs?
For example, suppose there was a monument like Stonehenge in Ohio...i am sure the ghetto apes would have graffiti'd the hell out of it, piss on it, smash it with hammers, and knocked over the stones as a joke.
If there were cathedrals like they have all over europe with incredible stone architecture and priceless art-work, the ghetto apes and thugs would have thrown feces at it and destroyed it with graffiti by now.
Right... so... I guess you've not been to Hong Kong or Moscow, then. Never mind.

POLL: Is graffiti art or vandalism?
I say it depends where it's placed and what it is.
Anything that defaces a national treasure or monument, like Stonehenge, is vandalism.
But if its on a wall of ,say, an abandoned building,and it has something important to say,then, yeah, it's ok.
Its just that most times it's a someone initials or rude words in child-like handwriting on the side of a train or bus or in toilets,etc.
What are your thought on this?

Graffiti is technically vandalism, as most is illegal.
I say it is depending on where and what it is.
The giant pieces of artwork that take days to finish, on blank sound walls of freeways, for example, should be artwork, as they are not hurting anyone and are more interesting to look at than a grey wall.
Tagging and scratching tram windows is just stupid and is nowhere near art. It is pure vandalism.
