Am I too late and old to start snowboarding to become an Am?
I am 18 years old and healthy, and energetic. I am a confident skateboarder and have skating for about 4 years.
I just watched a sick snowboard movie, Isensevens 'Teenage Love Graffiti' and I am in complete awe of snowboarding and wonna get as good as the guys doing it!
Just wondering if I could pick it up at 18 and how long it would take to get like an amature? I live in a remote area with no snow but there are dry slopes near me, and I want to work at a snow resort when I leave college!

No, it's not to late to start snowboarding. A lot of people don't get to try it before they leave home because of parents or geography. I learned to ski when I was a kid, but went only once a year each year my entire adolescence, and that's how a lot of people are. At 18, I started boarding, and started going more, and once I graduated and got a job I started going every chance I could.
How long it takes to get really good depends on how often you go, and how fast you learn stuff. Skateboarding won't help you snowboard directly, but the skater mentality you bring over, of trying again and again, and knowing that you are probably going to slam and it will probably hurt, but your going to do it anyway will help tremendously.
Where are you going to college? If you are going near home, I would consider transferring to someplace like University of Colorado in Boulder, or Oregon, or Washington, or Vermont, or Reno so you can ride during the school year. Maybe you can't right away, but for your sophomore or junior year. Or even after graduation. The key is to get yourself to a place where the thing holding you back from boarding is not a 14 hour drive.

Am I good in anything?

everything takes time... most things in life is acquired skill. barely anything is natural born talents. go play basketball and play everyday, you will get good. basically if u do anything and u do it a lot you will get good.
