Does my Mac OS X have a virus?
I was playing an app on Facebook (Graffiti) and my Mac warned me that the page may contain malware. Of course I ignored it because I wanted to draw more with the app, and when i was done the page scrolled up by itself and my curser moved across the screen a bit on its own.
Does my Mac have a virus? are there any built-in features that could be of assistance? are there any anti-virus programs safe to use on my Mac?
No, you don't have a virus, since there are no viruses for Mac OS X. Your page scrolled up by itself and the cursor moved across the screen because you have JavaScript and Enable plug-ins activated in Safari. If you go to Preferences > Security and uncheck the top two boxes, that won't happen.
At the same time, disabling JavaScript will also prevent you from using some sites, and from seeing any Flash content on those sites. That's the price you pay for being subjected to annoying, pointless Flash animations on the web.
