Graffiti Poster Design

How can I win a school presidential election?
For example:
My friends and I are making posters to put around the school. We are not allowed to give out any type of handouts, such as fliers, brochures etc. We are putting around the posters at school.
We have made and are still making a few good posters, however, I want more tips to win the election. How can I make this good? Any ideas on the posters? Like my friends are deciding to do graffiti designs, a fortune teller saying "VOTE FOR SUSAN AND YOU WILL PROSPER, ETC).. my friends are all good artists.
NOTE: I cannot make any loud speaker announcements, or announcements on the morning announcements.. Sorry for saying announcements too much.
Please help me, I am in grade 8.

Homework help! Having trouble with figuring out what a motif is?
Can it be a household object or food, or does it have to be an already created design such as a floral design? Cuz my plan is to take photos of objects and food and then create patterns with them. Is that okay or do i need an existing pattern?
Basically what it says on the sheet is to use photographic reference of Flinders street for inspiration, then i have to produce my own motifs which can be taken from walls, buildings, shop fronts, sinage, typography, posters, graffiti, train stations, hotels, tram tracks, federation square etc....but i dont necessarily have to do those, cuz they're just examples.
no, it can't be food, it should be a pattern, usually a piece of art, like designs on tiles, walls, carpets, you know, like textures.
