Graffiti Organizations

Shankill Road, Belfast - a few questions?
Just got back from a trip to Northern Ireland. What a beautiful country. I also, of course, noticed the amount of sectarian graffiti written around the town in NI. I did not go to Belfast, but knew to try and find out more about the 'Shankill Road'. The images on the internet are fascinating. I have to admit I know little to nothing about the problems in Ireland. I have a few questions. Do Irish Catholics live near or on the Shankill Road? How does that work with so many clearly unionist supporters? Is the UDA a right wing organisation? If you walked down the Shankhill road wearing an Irish football top on, would it cause trouble?
Thank you so much for your answers. My questions are just a few things that have popped into my mind since my research has began on what seems a deeply complex and often very sad conflict. Thank you.
shankill road is a mainly protestant unionist area, the falls road runs adjacent to it, and there is a "peace wall" dividing the 2 areas. uda are a loyalist paramilitry, i would always think of right/left wing being facist/communist. uda are loyalist. It would be very unwise to walk up the shankill in a celtic top, as woud walking up the falls in a rangers top.

Gang Graffiti Explained
Do you know of any hawaii organization that trys to get rid of graffiti? If yes who?
This question has been bugging me for a while.
There is an organization called the Graffiti Hunters of Hawaii that tries to get rid of graffiti in Waianae. Here's a link to a story on them:

I saw that you had previously asked about graffiti in schools, and sorry, I don't have an answer to that question. But if it helps, according to the Hawaii Reporter, the Department of Transportation estimated that its personnel removed about 150,000 sq ft of graffiti each year at a cost of $25,000 to state taxpayers in 2005. I know that doesn't say anything about the cost to schools, but it may be interesting to you to see how graffiti affects other parts of the state. Good luck with your research!
