Should i be afraid to play basketball there?
i moved to houston, tx last month and we just got settled and getting used to the new place. we started noticing all the colors (gangs) and the constant graffiti. i love basketball its like my sport but theres always kids there (in there teens) who have bandanas, tattoos, etc. should i just go there and play or find a better place to play. which i would have no idea to look. but i dont want to get into any gang.
Personally I would. Don't have an attitude, and don't complain about fouls, you'll make it anywhere. No one cares unless you totally suck.
The best way to improve is playing against different people. Alternate where you play.
