I've seen people start with a basic letter and then they start adding stuff to it and other peoiple just change the style of original font.Other people hust start off with the name,which is the best way.

If you really want to study the art of writing attractively then forget about graffiti and get yourself a book on calligraphy. A teach yourself book and some suitable pens and different colour inks. Graffiti is for morons. It makes a place look like a cheap dump and anyone doing it should be strung up by their....graffiti.
