if a no right turn sign is vandalised and unlear am i in the wrong turning right?


i got booked turning right , but there was graffiti on the sign where it said between 3.30 and 6.00pm . i could read the 7.30 and 9.00am part clearly . but as it was 5pm i thought i was ok. there was a police officer waiting in the side street, already booking another driver! when i pointed out that the sign was unclear ,with graffiti on it, the officer just stated that there was another sign over the road, which i must admit i hadn't seen. as i was driving looking for a street name to my right. surely an officers duty is to prevent accident by reporting / cleaning unclear signs, not taking advantage and setting up camp to book innocent motorists? as i have 18 years clean driving record i have elected to take this to court ,but i was hoping someone might offer some advice for me to use

You admit there was another sign you just hadn't seen because you were distracted looking for a street sign in the other direction. Your job as a motorist is to maintain control of your vehicle and observe and obey all traffic laws. The officers job is to enforce the law. If the sign was unreadable or missing you may have a shot at beating this, but since another sign was present and you simply missed it, I think you are toast. Pay the fine, learn a lesson.

I know they're not really add-ons but what are some cool things to put on my page. I'm renovating my page, New Background, Pic, deleating everything on it, adding a music player. But I want to put stuff on it! It's designed kind of, doodling, graffiti, girly stuff. I wanted a guest book that people could sign or something like that but IDK!
