Graffiti Art Studio What should I do for my ap studio art concentration?
I am thinking about different ideas. Hopefully someone answers this with some experience with art and knows what a concentration is. If you don't know, a concentration is 12 works that have the same concept and they all have to go together and my idea has to be something that makes a point. It's difficult. I have a possible theme but need some help on different ideas. I want to portray in my paintings how different things can be made in art. What I mean is you know how people make fancy cakes, do tattoos, make graffiti, build unique structures? That is all different ways of portraying art and I want to show that. Although I'm not sure if that's too broad of a concentration. I don't want to get bored with my theme - this will give me a lot of ideas. So if you can help with any suggestions please do!
i think your idea is valid but it sounds more like a philosophy than a theme. if you chose a different theme and then approached it with the philosophy you just stated i think that would be much stronger. try just picking a simple concept and then illustrating it with a cake, a tattoo, a structure. i find adjective's tend make good themes and should be easier to demonstrate in media you may not be familiar with. if you do the tattoo one you may want to try something like this. you should be able to find it at your local staples. http://www.decalpaper.com/category-s/8.htm
