Graffiti Art Form
Do you agree that the most underappreciated aspect of hip hop is graffiti art?
Graffiti art/tagging is part of hip hop culture too...but doesn't get the love it deserves. It too is an art form, like MCing and DJing. That group Artifacts from New Jersey was a pretty tight group. They rapped about tagging in that song "Wrong side of da tracks". Do you agree grafitti artists should get more love?

I agree...i think it is a regional thing...cuz i know when i lived in Jersey they would make some really hot graffitti murals...but i think as u venture out of the east coast graffitti tends to take on a new meaning. I live in Cali now, in San Diego, and the only graffitti I see is gang sign taggings. I do have a tagger friend that lives in the Bay area though and she says it's popular out there. But yeah I would defenitly agree that it is the least mentioned element of hip hop today.....
