Art Girls -What comic books/magazines do u read, what toys do you collect, and so on???
I love reading Juxtapoz Magazine. I enjoy Graffiti Artists, Illustrators, Toy Designer art, Tim Burton, Brian Froud, Shephard Fairy, Dalek, Tara McPherson, Craola.....etc. - I love Phototgraphy - Lomography --- toys like Dunny's, Ugly Doll, gloomy bears, just wondering what other girls like or if there is anything new and cool out in the art world - I'm obviously bored today
i just collect comics that really caught my interest like Buffy, anime and etc. i also like photography and collect action figures from Tim Burton and others.

Is being a Fashion Designer a good career for me?
Im a Male, turning 17, a senior in HS, living in the US and in the begining, i wanted to be a Doctor, then i want to be in Construction[ because i have experince in HS] , last month when i went to the philippines, i wanted to be a nurse for some reason, but now my mind is like focusing on clothes and sneakers and fashion. I want to be successful in Fashion with the help of my parnter and i want to make and design menwears and men sneakers.
You think this is a Great career for me?
Also i dont have any graphic experience or any sketches of fashion drawing but i do draw like art and mostly hand graffiti.
And also, do Fashion Designer make good money?
My parent think this career is gay,
but i dont think so.
and also,
during this career, i want to make my own brand
If you want to be in fashion or art, go to major or wealthy cities like Paris, New York, Milan, Tokyo and even Moscow were money is flowing and art is highly appreciated. In the Philippines, people are not keen on fashion much more on the arts. That is why the old arts and crafts in the Philippines are dying. Even theater performances in the Philippines is struggling.
However by the looks of it, you seem fickle minded. Give it some time. Try to immerse yourself in the fashion world. Watch the show "Project Runway" or "America's Next Top Model" and other fashion shows. Go to art galleries, read fashion magazines and get some inspiration.
There are no guarantees you can make it big in the fashion industry. You need some skills and off course some artistic sense. To be in fashion or art, you need to have a "wild" imagination or a sense of style. Those who endure in the art and fashion world are those who defy standards. In short you must have your own sense of identity. Before I forget, fashion is a commercial industry, so you should also know how to manage it in a business perspective.
