Would you fire an apprentice if?
you found out they were a graffiti artist.

No but I would encourage them to put that artistic ability on canvas so it could be displayed in the shop or in a portfolio. Tattoo artists get enough of a bad reputation as it is and people are always looking for more reasons to discriminate against them so it doesn't help to do anything illegal. Some people might try to make a connection between your illegal activities outside of the shop with your activities inside of the shop, and if that becomes an issue, you will probably be fired.
