What is the penalty for Graffiti?
I was with two of my friends and we were under this bridge by the train station in my town. Their is a lot of graffiti under there. My friends and I found a few can of red spray paint and we started tagging the walls. We were tagging for like 15 minutes and we heard a noise, two cops jumped out and my friends and i ran. I was running for a few minutes then decided i'm in deep trouble if i get caught now, so i turned myself into them. I got cuffed and brought to the police station. I got to know the officer and we were joking around and stuff and said he was going to go easy on me because I'm a charming guy. He filed a report for disorderly conduct, then let me leave. What should I expect to happen? What kinds of charges/ fines do you think I will receive? I also live in Bergen County, New Jersey. Thanks
