Digital Graffiti Software

Any free basic software that I can use to black out part of a video frame by frame?
I took a really good film of a fantastic local band on the weekend, using my digital camera, and asked them if they would be okay with me posting it on Youtube. Only problem is when I watched it back on my computer, where they're playing has some pretty nasty graffiti in the background and you can easily read it where I've zoomed in on individual members.
I only have Windows Movie Maker, does anyone know of a free program I could download which would let me go through my video frame by frame to pixellate or put some kind of patch over the offensive words please? (Will also post to the Youtube category.)
actually I guess it wouldn't have to be free, this is a bit optimistic isn't it? Anything under say $30 or so would be okay ![]()
Thanks for your reply Pulsar, yep I do realise that it will be a big job, but fortunately the graffiti isn't legible in most of the video (just the few close-ups). And I think it will be worth it, they did such a great version of the song
You will have to decompile the video in to individual frames,
then edit each frame then recompile in to a video format.
Now just as an example of what you want to do.
if the video is 30 seconds long and it runs at 30 frames per second,
then thats 900 pictures you will have to edit.
Do you really want to do that ?
if so then you need adobe premier which cost to buy 799 US dollars
to split the vid and recompile it.
then you need a picture editor such as photoshop which cost to buy 699 US dollars
to edit the pictures.
