How do I make the words in Microsoft paint become transparent?
I have been playing around with making graffiti in Microsoft paint a lot lately and i am getting good at everything accept for the part where you make your word transparent to show the separate design you have made show through it. how do i do this?
Type/draw the words on a clear part of the picture and select them using the select tool with the 'Draw Opaque' option off (Bottom option under the 'Toolbox' when you choose 'Select' tool). Then choose 'Image' - 'Invert Colors'. This makes the letters of the words transparent, but the surround black. Use the 'Fill With Color' tool to fill this surround area with White, not forgetting enclosed parts of letters and then re-selected the words and move them over the picture. The picture will show through all the letters!

How to Change Your Life With the “G” Word
Gratitude is something which is overlooked and under-rated. It’s so important we practice gratitude on a daily (if not hourly) basis. Why? Because gratitude is the key to having more of what we enjoy in life.
If there is something you would like more of in your life – instead of focusing on the lack, focus on this thing. For example if you would like more beauty in your life... do not focus on the graffiti-covered buildings in your town, disturbing news stories on television or weeds in the garden.
Ignore and limit your interaction with the not so beautiful things in your life. Instead actively look for the beauty around you. Look at the laughing children in the school playground that you pass on your way to work.
Look at the pretty fall leaves as the float down from the trees blowing in the wind. And look at the thriving flower pots in your neighbour’s window box.
When you look for more of something you would like more in your life – you become aware that the thing you are seeking is all around you. If you open your eyes.
If you would like more money in your life do not focus on lack. Focus on seeing the enormous abundance that is surrounding you. Look at the abundance of sand on the beach – all those billions of grains of sand.
Look at the abundance of water falling during a heavy down pour. And look at the abundance of joy on the face of the children playing in your neighbourhood.
When you make a concerted effort to look around at what you are seeking more of – more of what you are looking for will find its way to you. The best thing is noticing, appreciating and celebrating the little things in life automatically creates more of what we are looking at.
Gratitude is a beautiful thing. Practice it today. You can use a specially designated notebook to write down all the things you are grateful about today. Perhaps you can write something like “I am so happy and grateful for...
The smile on my husband’s face when we woke up this morning
The fall leaves dancing in the wind
All the nationalities that inhabit our world
Reading a good book I am so engrossed in
Enjoying the smell of freshly cut grass
Listening to my favourite song on the radio
Whatever you are grateful for, write it down. Do this for a whole month. After a short 30 days your life will be richer and more blessed with what you are looking for.
