If you were to choose the color of your life, what would it be? Crimson red for desire, rage, or passion? Green for fragility and jealousy? What about black for mystery and elegance? If you ask me, I'm sticking with vivid gray on flawless white paper.
Like my favorite aricatures Orange County artists, I want both dark and light shaded pencil-drawn tint of my existence. People seldom see gray as a color, or shade, of excellence. Most of us prefer vibrant colors over the timelessness of gray. Psychologists say that people associate gray with depression and unsettling character. This is, perhaps, the reason why most of us adore Da Vinci's or Michaelangelo's or HD's display of colors. I beg to differ.
I began to be proud of the color gray through the talent of a aricature artist for parties back in LA. I had a chat with Rafael about his job. He told me that he does paintings of landscapes, people, abstracts, and Star Trek characters. As Rafael began his storytelling, he brought out pictures of his paintings taken with his camera phone. I must say I was and still impressed with his collections worthy to be displayed in a museum in France. However, he told me that no other color could ever replaced the classic feel of gray.

He personally believes that gray is the only color that blends perfectly with any color. Gray is very solid and convicted for him.
