Would like to hear from graffiti vandals on this?
We've recently had a huge influx of graffiti vandalism in & around the city. Graffiti vandals call themselves artists & defend their actions as "freedom of expression." So, my question to these "artists" is, "if you truly consider it to be art/freedom of expression, why don't you deface your own property (i.e., house, car, etc.)? If you like it so much, then express why don't you express yourself at the expense of
your property? Also, would you agree with my freedom of artistic expression if I spray-painted your car or house?
Would you defend my right to artistic expression? Why or
why not?
first off
there are differences: there are (but not limited to) street art ,graffiti, and gang graffiti
before i even start there is a general rule amongst anyone who does street art do not touch civillian cars and house it has to be public property. so if any one defaced your house it was gang related because gangs dont care, they just want turf and they will sprawl their nasty cholo tags wherever the they think is their turf.
people believe they live in a neutrel area because they are use to seeing millions of advertisments everyday but when you think about it, how many people does that single out?
i sure as hell cant afford a billboard or half of the stuff on them so why dont i have a right to get my opinion out there?
a few days ago i saw a billboard that stated "abortion: think before you murder a child" I dont support abortion but that must have offended alot of people and why do they have that right??? money.
most graffiti artist just want to see their name or put some really amazing art out there i understand not liking all the nasty tags but think about nice murals and stencils and stickers. alot of people who dont even support graffiti still think it makes some towns better

Why is it the News shows Auto Plants with dozens of do nothing employees; but when I went there it was Robots?
I was an Environmental Compliance Contractor at NUMI in Fremont CA. (Toyota GM joint venture) It amazed me how few people actually worked there. Mostly forklift drivers that move racks of parts from shipping containers to the assembly line.

So why the deception from the News Media, that auto plants are over staffed with do nothing $100 dollar an hour employees ... I remember a graffiti that said Japanese Cars made in America by Chinese Robots
I worked for a supplier, and went to several plants. The Ford rear end plant in warren, MI is huge. About 1/2 to 1 square mile. I think maybe 30-50 people were working there. Same for the Ford truck plant.
