Brick Walls Graffiti

How should I paint my poster board if...?
I'm doing a graffiti wall thing for my english class. So on the poster board I'm going to paint a brick wall and spray paint the words on. What kinds of paint should I use to make it look like real bricks. I want the to look kinda old and worn. Any ideas???
At larger DIY stores and some paint stores you can buy spray on paint that gives a rough stone texture . Just put thin masking tap down outlining the shape of bricks , spray on the paint and then let dry and peel the tape off - viola .
You can paint the lines in between the bricks grey and the rough texture paint a reddish brown color if needed .
You can use cheap acrylic paint from the dollar store that comes in small bottles.
If you can't find the stone texture paint you can also use plaster or drywall compound , just smooth it on the board and rough it up with a sponge , let dry and paint like bricks , you can use your finger when it is still wet to make the grout lines .
After painting rough it up with some sandpaper.
Good luck !
