What is your opinion on graffiti?

I know this is more of an Art question but I'd like to get answers from people I sort of know. Also, the Art community is pretty clearly set into their categories on this and it's sometimes interesting to mix it up.

So, is (are) graffiti art? And have you ever done any graffiti yourself?

I paint graffiti to start of
i think it's the only art that takes balls and that the youth created and continue till they get old if they understand what you are doing

most people do not like it but when your poor and can't afford game consoles and to take your girl out or just to simple have cable you can buy paint and paint a picture and be proud of something
now if you were making money have can do nearly anything you want it's offensive to you because you pass it by and in your head you know the man is proud of himself that did it but you aren't because your (bigger) or make money and still sad

thats just my perspective of it
it's the only art that you can see for free in person i mean come on and it's your name that you made the most beautiful creation through your eyes
i love graffiti but now there are alot of these posser gangbangers and people dying from it

i hate to love it
and it's addicting
