Is the Memphis Statue of Liberty anti-American?

This Baptist guy in Tennessee (outside memphis) has spent 200,000 dollars which is in part provided by federal money ("faith based initiatives") to erect a huge Statue of Liberty holding a Christian cross and crying for America's sins... She is holding the 10 commandments in her left hand...

Does anyone else see the irony in this? I don't know exactly why but it kind of angers me... I guess it's like he can do whatever he wants but I don't need saving like that and I don't enjoy seeing my national symbols with religious graffiti on them like that...

I have been saying for years that eventually this will become The Christian States of America - - - this is certainly pointing in that direction. Thanks for the link.
