Airbrush Graffiti Words what supplies do i need for graffiti?
im wanting to do some graffiti. all legal of course;)
im not very artistic. i have never painted with a brush and im not very good at sketching. i have tried airbrushing. im ok. but only with stencils. but i have a big interest in graffiti. i think most of it looks pretty sick. so my questions are...
what supplies do i need, and where can i get them for how much?
do i need a special paint?
what are some of the words used by graffiti artists and what do they mean?
what is a mopp?
what can i practice on?

Spray paint is obviously the number one supply you need for graffiti. You can buy them at any hardware store or graffiti specialty shop (more expensive there though). Also, legal or not, I suggest disposable gloves because paint on your hands can be tedious. I suggest starting off with some cheap paint to see if you really have a desire to do graffiti before you invest a lot of money into it.

And as for what to practice on, I usually do it in the storage closet in my back yard (I have a layer of craft paper covering the walls) or on poster boards. And once your confortable with it, get a few friends to go with you to keep an eye out while your putting up a nive piece
