what am i supposed to do for a graphic design portfolio?
We prefer to see a diverse range of 2D and 3D media. Drawing from observation is recommended, while copying anime, cartoons, graffiti or tattoos is discouraged.
ok so this is what my art portfolio has to contain ,it's froma college website admissions requirements page .i want to go in graphic design but i have no clue what it is i just saw some stuff online and i loved it but now i wanna know how i can make this portfolio that i dont even know if its a book or a website or how to display the content inside and the bigger problem is i only draw(not copy) anime like ppl cuz i hate drawing real life boring stuff like ppl or objects..and i have no idea what do they mean by 2D or 3D media?? can someone plz explain clearly to all of these questions?? thxxx
Im going through the same thing now. I love art and I recently went looking for art schools and stuff and heard all about graphic design so thats what I wanna get into. I've always draw from when I was little and save like everything I've done and my best go into a specific folder. A lot of times youll hear that ppl don't really like anime style so try doing different things. Im currently working on mostly anime/manga but I do other stuff in between.
Just save everything you do and if you want to do a portfolio put your best in a folder, or uplaod them onto the computer, like on deviantart.com.
